Williams & Daily Dental: For The Community

Community involvement is something that is emphasized at Williams & Daily Dental. Each year, we host events that give back to our patients, and community at large. We pride ourselves on the impact we have on others and enjoy being able to give back to the community that gives us so much is something we value.

If you’ve ever wondered what events happen at Williams & Daily Dental, we’ve highlighted our annual events and what they aim to do.

March - Hoops for the Hungry

For Hoops for the Hungry, we host a food drive for non-perishable foods to be donated to Urban Ministries during the month of March. We like to make our events as fun as possible, and if we reach our donation goal we pie our dentists in the face. In 2018, we took this event one step further and spent an afternoon as a team volunteering at Urban Ministries, to stock their food pantry shelves and complete inventory!

June - Urban Ministries Food Drive

Our food drive to support Urban Ministries also sought to secure 20 Sustainer donors, which are donors who had monthly occurring donations, for the non-profit. This helped Urban Ministries secure a $30,000 grant from the A.J. Fletcher Foundation. Williams & Daily Dental led by example, and we are a monthly sustainer!

September - Freedom Day USA

Freedom Day USA is a nationally recognized event that seeks to provide free dental work for veterans and their families. We enjoy participating and providing fillings, extractions, crowns, and cleanings to those who have served our country.

October - Candy Buy Back

During our Candy Buy Back, Williams & Daily Dental will offer $1 per pound of candy brought to our office. We also give $1 if you come in for your visit in your best Halloween costume. Once the event ends, we ship the candy to the troops overseas for them to enjoy.

November - Light the Night

Light the Night is an event that we at Williams & Daily Dental hold near and dear to our hearts. We annually participate in Light the Night in honor of Dr. Craig Williams’ father, Dr. Mike Williams, who founded the practice. Sadly, Dr. Mike Williams passed away from Leukemia. We raise money for the cause and participate in the annual Light the Night walk every year. This year, we decided that the doctor to raise the least amount of money must dress up as Napoleon Dynamite! You can donate to our Light the Night goal here.
